This Alpine realm of friendly ghosts comes to life in the mountains in Saint Johann im Pongau when the snow in the mountains has melted. In spring, summer and autumn, families get to see these happy Alpine ghosts. The Alpendorf gondola lift heads up to the Geisterberg leisure and adventure park, as the towns down in the valley below become ever smaller. Above the mountain station the Geisterberg train takes visitors to the centre of the Geisterberg, with all its adventure-packed stations.

MOZART'S BIRTH HOUSE
In the house where Mozart was born visitors are guided through the original Mozart rooms, which contain historic instruments, documents, memorabilia and quite a number of portraits that originated from his lifetime. For instance there is the unfinished oil painting from 1789 'Mozart at the piano' by Mozart's brother-in-law, Joseph Lange.
